Investment Banker (Fundraising Accelerator)
Role Overview
We're looking for an Investment Banker to work directly with founders inside our fundraising accelerator. This role is highly hands-on and relationship-driven, focused on founder communication, diligence, and strategic guidance throughout the capital raising process.
You'll act as a trusted partner to founders — helping them think clearly about their raise, preparing them for investor conversations, and ensuring their materials and data rooms meet investor expectations.
This is not a passive advisory role. You will be embedded in live raises.
Responsibilities
- •Lead ongoing founder communication via Slack and weekly strategy meetings
- •Support founders through data room review and due diligence preparation
- •Provide market clarity and fundraising guidance based on:
- • Company stage
- • Capital ask
- • Round structure
- • Investor profile alignment
- •Help founders refine positioning, narrative, and expectations for investor outreach
- •Collaborate with the PitchNode team to maintain momentum and accountability throughout each engagement
What We're Looking For
- •Background in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or institutional fundraising
- •Strong understanding of startup fundraising mechanics across stages
- •Ability to communicate clearly with founders under pressure
- •High judgment, discretion, and ownership mentality
- •Comfortable working in a fast-moving, low-structure, high-trust environment
- •Genuine passion for startups, innovation, and founder success
